  • Mobility devices such as pod are classified as 'pedestrians', approved under Land Transport Rule 2004 & Land Transport Act 1998 Section 168A: designed and constructed for use by persons who require mobility assistance, permitted to travel on footpaths, edge of roadway where no footpath, cycle lanes & cycle paths. Does not require a driver's license, registration or WOF; insurance recommended. Riders of a mobility device are not required to substantiate any mobility impairment
